You know, after thinking about this for 2 days I realised "Et al" does not work for me. Too corporate-legalise like.

austere: How about 'of it all' ... et al I must concede that 'et al' was a rhyming patch
Right on about the rhyme part. "et al" does have an encompassing sense that "of it all" doesn't quite do justice to. The jury's out.
